First Bank was the very first community bank in Mandarin. The bank was formed with a deep commitment to serve the caring citizens and beautiful community of Mandarin. Chartered in 1989, First Bank has recently undergone dramatic changes. In January 2004, First Bank was purchased by a small group of shareholders, including majority owners Harry Trevett and Jay Mock. Mr. Trevett is from Jacksonville and his long-time business partner, Mr. Mock, is from Fernandina Beach, Florida. These gentlemen were founding directors of a prospering bank prior to their ownership interest in First Bank.
First Bank has a local ownership and a local board, and they make local decisions from their Main Office at the corner of San Jose Boulevard and Claire Lane.
We have updated our logos and colors, and we continue to remodel and add banking equipment, such as our 24/7 drive-through ATM, to enhance your banking experience. We are very excited about the future and have recently added banking technology such as internet banking, bill payment, voice banking and cash management that should save you time and money.
